How-to: Make Glowing Slime

In this video, Mira demonstrates how to make slime that glows in the dark.

Materials

  • Elmer's Glow in the Dark Glue
  • Mixing bowl
  • Water
  • Baking soda
  • Contact lens solution
  • Measuring spoons
  • Measuring cups
  • Spatula

Instructions

  1. In the mixing bowl, add a half cup of water.
  2. Add 4 fluid ounces of glue.
  3. Mix completely. This is mostly about breaking the glue into smaller parts.
  4. Add 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda and mix completely. The baking soda will dissolve into the water.
  5. Add 2 tablespoons of contact lens solution and stir like crazy until it thickens.
  6. Use your hands to knead the slime. It will be a little sticky at first, but it will start to thicken.
  7. Take your slime to a dark room to watch it glow.
